FORTHCOMING GOOD STUFF:

I recently designed these business cards for the extremely talented Barber Steven Chapman. If you need your beard or barnet sorting out, he's your man. Go and see him here

I was kindly asked to stock some cards at the super new little shop Cow & Co. It's the mostly lovely treasure trove of treats, so get yourself down there! (If only to meet Claude the dog)

I have some work for sale in the Red Door Gallery in Edinburgh. If you're in that neck of the woods, pop in to say hello to the lovely folk in there and buy something even more lovely.

I was recently asked to make an image to celebrate the birth of a little chap as part of a group thing, but it is still a secret for the new mum. Pictures to follow shortly!

Everybody loves a good beard. Especially my good friend Lorna who I doodled this for.

I will be at this lovely event, It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas on Sunday 11/12/11 organised by my lovely friend Lizz of Lah De Dah. Christmassy stalls selling cards/prints (inc mine) and jewellery. A few tickets still left. Grab one while you can!

I was asked to draw an Iberian Lynx for the Creature Magazine 'Endangered Creature Alphabet'. Go take a look!

The DREAMBOAT exhibition is on now! Go see all the lovely artwork, buy lots of nice things and listen to some super live music! It's running until 30th December -  Start Gallery/Start the Bus.

Go. Now.

The lovely ladies at Inkygoodness are organising another super show in December in collaboration with Dreamboat Records! Very exciting! More details to follow shortly...

It's almost 'Play' time!

I now have some work on sale at the Landbaby shop at the Bluecoat in Liverpool... Get down there and treat yourself to something niiice.

I will be part of an exhibition in September organised by the nice folk who run Inkygoodness... Check it out here for more details.

YCN kindly asked me to design some Christmas cards for their Christmas shop, My Two Front Teeth, at 72 Rivington Street. Go have a mooch at all of the lovely, festive things and loosen those purse strings... All of the cards can be seen here - YCN flickr.

I've been featured in the latest offering of the rather lovely Mindtonic periodical.

Popshot Magazine is out now! Go buy it, lots of lovely work in it... Including a little doodle I've done.

The Shelter exhibition mentioned below has come round, it's on from 24th - 28th September and is being held at the Haunch of Venison Gallery, W1. Go see it! There are lots of amazing people involved and it's all in aid of Shelter. Shelter - House of Cards

Working on a nice little project with Blanket Magazine at the mo - It's on The Black and White Issue.

I have some work in a new book coming out in the Autumn, 'Big Book of Contemporary Illustration' (Martin Dawber). Exciting. Really need to get hold of a copy.

A couple of weeks ago I saw a design brief that Amelia (of Amelia's Magazine) had put up on her website. The theme was 'Two of Hearts' and it was in collaboration with the charity Shelter. All of the designs that got picked were going to be put on to a patchwork quilt for an exhibition that Shelter will be organising in the Summer. So I did a quick doodle and sent it off... And HURRAH, I've just received an email from Amelia to say mine will to be used!

The Joyful Bewilderment's next home will be the Here Gallery, Bristol. It's there from the 7th July until 8th August.

I've been away in India for a wee while where I saw lots of weird and wonderful things, mainly wonderful. I'm back now and have a sad face as I'd forgotten just how grey and chilly it is over here. However, I'm working on some nice new stuff and will add it asap.

India was hot. Home is not.

The Joyful Bewilderment will be making a move to a new home for a while where you'll be able to visit it and feast your eyes on the super work involved... I'll post more details as and when I hear them!

Taking part in this in a few weeks time - Artist's Book Fair Liverpool

The Joyful Bewilderment Exhibition - Truman Brewery, London. Private view 2nd October and on until 27th November (Just found out it has been given another month!). Check the blog for more details.
